Hi everyone! I'm Mary - I'm from Pennsylvania. :). I serve as the admissions counselor for folks interested in the MSFS program, but I am also a big foodie and am really interested in obtaining good nutrition in my diet and being respectful of how I can eat and live more sustainably.

Hi! I’m Victoria - tuning in from Southern California! I graduated a year ago with a BS in Sustainability Studies, I’ve been vegan for a year and a half and sustainable food systems are really interesting to me. I’ve recently been finding zoom’s like this to keep me educated and entertained during quarantine, so thank you for putting this on!

Hi, I am Suzanne from Malta (in the Mediterranean :-) ) I am mainly involved in teacher training and community education on sustainable lifestyles. I have been incorporating sustainable eating in my education activities for some years now. I am interested in helping consumers of every age increase their valuation of foods - local and indigenous foods, bringing them closer to the producers and also promoting the sustainability value of the Mediterranean diet and melding sustainable choices with convenience when cooking . If anybody is interested in the latter, feel free to get in touch... suzanne.piscopo@um.edu.mt

Thank you Robin and Sharon for a wonderfully informative webinar! My name is Madeline and I am a student at Grinnell College in Iowa. I want to pursue an MPH and focus on community nutrition in my work. I am interning this summer for Local Foods Connection, a nonprofit that connects low income families with local farmers and CSA shares. I am very passionate about nutrition and food access, and am wondering if you have recommendations on creating infographics/marketing materials for healthy eating for social media? What are techniques you use to make nutrition information as clear as possible?
